- BUIDL Seoul 2018 collects the following personal information for the purpose of registration and of various services in relation to the event.
■ Registration for Participants : Full name, nationality, date of birth, organization, department, position, mobile phone, telephone, e-mail
■ The following information may be automatically collected while using services in relation to the event. (IP information, internet cookies, service history, login records, etc.)
- BUIDL Seoul 2018 collects personal information for the following reasons.
■ Send the guidance about participation in the BUIDL Seoul 2018 and other events which will be hosted by KryptoSeoul.
■ Statistics on login frequency and service use
- Method of Collecting Personal Information
■ Website, e-mail
■ Information collected during using the information collecting tools of the conference.
[Duration of Retaining and Using Personal Information]
Personal information is stored from the date of registration sign-up. It is retained and used only when BUIDL Seoul 2018 Secretariat provides any services in relation to the event. Personal information can be immediately deleted when 1) requesting withdrawal from the membership, 2) requesting withdrawal from the previous agreement on collecting and using personal information, 3) once the purpose of collection and the use of the personal information are achieved, and ends the period of retention and use. However, the following information is retained for the specified period for the reasons below:
■ Personal information(login records) retained in relation to using services (complying with the Protection of Communications Secrets Act): 3 months
■ Personal information retained in relation to cancellation of membership (complying with the Consumer Protection Act in e-commerce and etc.): 5 years
■ Personal information retained in relation to provisions of goods and payment (complying with the Consumer Protection Act in e-commerce and etc.): 5 years
■ Personal information retained in relation to arbitrating disputes or processing customers’ claims and complaints (complying with the Consumer Protection Act in e-commerce and etc.): 3 years
■ Personal information retained in relation to the record of personal information (complying with the act on the protection and use of location information and etc.): 1 year
■ Personal information retained in relation to electronic financial transaction (comply with the Consumer Protection Act in e-commerce, etc.): 5 years
